Exercising while sick: Listen to your body and rest!

There’s a common misconception that exercise can “run” a cold out of the body. While exercise can reduce the likelihood of illness, “germs are germs… they get to everyone,” Dr. Paul Schultz, family and medicine physician at St. Joseph Mercy Brighton, told Livingston Press & Argus writer Abby Welsh.   The best advice is to get lots of rest and drink fluids.
